Red Tail Ridge is a new vineyard and winery located on the western shore of Seneca Lake.
We believe that quality and wine style start in the vineyard – so we devote a lot of time and effort to grape growing and maturation of desired flavors and aromas in the field. Our resulting wines are handcrafted and produced in small-lots to further preserve and enhance the varietal characters that we’ve generated through
our vineyard efforts.
Red Tail Ridge is named after the nesting pair of hawks who live in the woods next to our vineyard.
Our tasting room is open seven days a week:
Monday through Saturday 10AM to 5PM, and Sunday Noon to 5PM.

This semi-dry wine is incredibly expressive, with a big wallup of citrus and lemon peel flavors and just a touch of mineral depth. While this Riesling has 2.8% residual sugar, it also has a nice complement of acidity – providing a clean finish.

A dry wine with big expressive fruity characters. This wine nicely balances acidity with a full texture on the palate. The flavors and aromas contribute strong notes of tropical fruit, with a pleasant mineral finish.

A dry, cool climate style wine that delicately expresses pear and green apple aromas and flavors. This wine has a very slight smidgeon of oak-spice mid-palate with a nice creamy finish.
